Hi folks, Just purchased a 1993 Shabah 211. At least thats what I believe it to be. Has the 350 Mag with Alpha 1 outdrive. The clock shows 626 hous but the boat appears to be in excellent condition. Spent some time cleaning up the gelcoat and it is at the upholstery shop having a few repairs and uogrades made. Otherwise is a very nice running boat and is in great shape. Paid a bit under 10k and couldnt be happier with the boat. The only question I have is about putting some trim tabs on her. I don't meeed to get out of the watter any faster but would lke to use the tabs to trim for load conditions. It does not look easy given the transom shape to fit tabs. Does any one have any suggestions?

Congratulations and welcome. If you search the forum for Trim tabs you will find some very good direction and examples for smart tabs mostly.

Enjoy the new boat and share some pictures when you can.

Smart tabs aren't designed to allow load levelling so if you are thinking of that then you will need to install hydraulic or electric tabs (Lencos or Bennetts) which can be a little pricey.

Can't figure out how to post a photo of thwboat with my prifile, help? Also I know I dont want smatr tabs but my searches have not yielded any help with how/where to mount other tabs. could be that I just have not mastered this technology yet:(
