Hello everyone. I have just picked up a 93 Shaba but not sure what model. The Capacity plate only states 21. So I am assuming its a 21 foot. The boat is in fair shape and has a few issues that needs to be looked after. I was wondering a few things about the boat...such as weight and fuel capacity. It has a mercruiser 350 magnum and Alpha1 leg. I will post about the items I want to look after in the other area's of this site. This is my second boat and my first bow rider. The other boat is a 79 Searay SRV195 A great boat but a little tight on room at times.

It might be a 212 and maybe a 212Z depending on what options it has. Posting a pic (hull & interior) will make it easier to identify. The weight is approx 2600lbs with a 30gal fuel tank capacity. That boat with the 350mag should hit 55-57mph.

Thanks Mikeyt....I thought a boat this size would be a little heavier than that but you never know. My Searay is about 3000 lbs and a deeper v hull. I would be happy with anything in the 50 mph rang...but there again...is it ever enough? I have not had it in the water yet due to it being after dark when I looked at and bought the boat and it has been raining here ever since. We are supposed to have a break in the rain this afternoon so I am going to try the boat then and get some pics. I hope I wont be looking back and kicking myself for not waiting for a water test..but at the price I paid I have a lot of room to work with.

Good luck! Its been raining here in southern ontario all spring too... :(
