Hello to all fellow Mariah owner's,. Im 50 yrs old and have been boating my entire life,...Ive had several boats in the 18-27ft range, but this is my first Mariah.

I purchased this 94' Davanti 235 for a song at the end of last yr,.. the boat was in perfect shape except it needed the complete power train. I have just purchased a rebuilt 5.0 mercruiser (early 90's) with very low hrs, came complete with transom plate, gimble housing and alpha 1 outdrive.

Ive completely gone through the engine, currently running on the stand and checking in w/170 pnds of compression each cylinder. I ve gone through the outdrive and replaced impeller kit, grease ect, Some last minute things to replace before power train goes into the boat. Should have the motor in and boat out for a shakedown run in two weeks.
