New 2007 SX19 Owner
 

Hello All,

I am the new owner of a Yellow 2007 SX19. Took it out on the water today here in Dallas and had a blast running her through the paces. This is my first boat of my own but my family has always had boats and even some PWCs. I have a pretty decent mechanically background and love working on cars so I hope to perform the maintenance on her myself. Looking forward to learning a lot from this forum. From what I've seen, y'all seem like a great bunch. :wink_thumbup:

Well, I've taken the boat out a few times now. Lots of fun. Wear sunscreen. Here is what I've noticed.

-Boat doesn't plane out well at all. Especially since I have the 3.0L 4 cyclinder Merc. I'm looking into getting some SmartTabs SX from reading all the good reviews. Should help out the issue.
-Bilge Pump doesn't seem to work. Need to tear it apart to determine what the issue is.
-After being out for a few hours, I pulled the boat out and pulled the drain plug. A considerable amount of water came out. I'd say many gallons. I know it is normal to take on a little water but this concerns me. Especially with my bilge pump not working.

Other than that, I'm loving the boat. Anyone else from Texas or Dallas area?
