Parts!! 97' Shaba 18'

So here I am. I have a lovely 18' Mariah that is officially dead. Broke valve punched a hole in the head and that's all it took to seal the motors fate. So long story short I'm selling as much stuff off it as I can to save for another Mariah. I only have one week to pull off parts so any advice on valuble or hard to find parts that I should get off it would be great. The outdrive, motor and trailer are already spoken for but everything else is up for grabs.
Thanks for anyone who would like to buy parts or has any advice on things I should grab (I'll cut you a great deal since we r all part of the Mariah fam).
Oh. It's a 18' 4.3 ltr.

I guess I don't get it. Our '94 182 Barchetta, a boat three years older than yours, had a NADA guide value of over $6k when we bought her last year. A remanufactured 4.3L long block should be about $3500 or so installed. Just a new head: Significantly less than that. So you're scrapping her and parting her out?

Please forgive the comment, but I hate to see a good boat killed. :(

Anyway... The glass is certainly very valuable, being as it's custom. If the the front seats are the bucket/captain's style: Same thing. If the back seat bottoms are the kind that slide forward a bit and then hinge open: Those hinges are hard-to-find, I believe. The steering wheel? Glove box door?

Other than that: All the switches and instruments in the dash. But those aren't quite so hard-to-get/rare, I believe.

Perhaps the convertible top, if it's in good shape?

That's all I can think of, off-hand.

Jim

Why dont you tell us where you are located and upload a few pics California Guy? I'm kinda siding with Jim though...i hate to see a good boat parted out just because the motor needs work.
