:)hi, my name is danny and i have just purchased a 1996 shabah. I live on the north cornish coast (uk) but intend to use the south coast ( far safer for a novice like me) what i say next will probably sound stupid but i purchased this boat without any manuals or paperwork on how things work on the shabah i liked the boat so much i have taken a chance on trying to find the information for myself, from what i have already seen on your members site there is a good chance some decent people would help.I forgot to mention my engine is a volvo penta 3.0 gs, and i have just sent off for a works manual.thats all to say for now i hope i did not bore you to much.

You are at the right place. The shop manual will help with repair things and a how to manual on the boat will only help if you have never done a boating. Good luck and enjoy! Walter from the Elizabeth (after queen E) River in Virginia, USA

Hi Danny & welcome aboard! The owners manual is kind of useless if you want to learn anything about your boat. It is simply a safe boating book & contains very little specific boat/model information. If there is things about your boat that you are uncertain of (how they work etc..) simply post your questions here and someone will be around to help you out.

If you are down boating in the Southampton area, stop by Southwater Marine and say hello to David Allen. He visits our site on occasion and was the original Mariah distributor in Britain.
