mariah mike
Hello Everyone,
I am the proud owner of a 2001 Z202 Mariah. Actually, this is the 3rd Mariah runabout I have owned plus, I also owned a Jubilee Deck Boat. My family and I enjoy using our boats on various lakes in North and Central Alabama. I look forward to hearing from other Mariah owners in the weeks and months ahead. |

Re: mariah mike
Hey Willy,
Thanks for the welcome. My very first boat was a 1995 Maxum and what a mistake that was. After 1 summer, I sold that boat and started looking for something else. I had always heard about the great quality and workmanship of a Mariah boat and found a dealer in Huntsville, Al. that was going out of business. He made me a "deal" on a 1996 20' Shabah and I absolutely fell in love with it. Great boat, great workmanship and great quality. I am in the banking profession and in 1998 a customer knew I had the boat and wanted to buy it. He made me the proverbial offer I couldn't refuse so I sold it to him. I promptly went to Sylacauga, Al. where I ordered a new 1998 Z202 and it was a great boat as well. In 2000 my wife decided we needed a deck boat to haul around our large family so we purchased a Jubilee deckboat. While it ran good, the quality of that boat was not a good as we had experienced with the runabouts. In 2000 a good friend wanted to buy the 1998 Z202 so, he bought it and once again we went to Sylacauga and ordered the 2001 Z202 we have now. I actually had someone buy this boat from me in 2004. In 2006 I started looking for another runabout. I looked at Crownline's, Chaparral's, Bryant's, Monterey's, etc. and couldn't find anything I liked as well at the Mariah. So, I called the guy I sold it to and bought it back. It's still a great boat and have only recently experienced my first problem with it. As you can tell, my family has had a long time love affair with Mariah's. Thanks again Willy for your hospitality and interest. Mariah Mike |
