Top speed and RPMS
 
Hey I am a new member and just bought my first boat a Mariah 212 Shabah. After doing my research I choose Mariah and got to put it on the water for the first time today it ran, and handled like a dream also had a very smooth ride. I have the 5.0L with the Alpha 1 about the best I could get out off it was around 4500 to 4800 RPM and 50 to 55 MPH which I thought was good. My question is would those RPM and MPH be about the normal.

Hi Tiger-rag and welcome to the club!

From what I've found, your RPMs seem to be on par for your 5.0L while your top speed is better than the performance listed in the sales brochure (44 - 49 mph) for the 212 Shabah, so it sounds like your Shabah is running very well indeed :wink_thumbup:
