Opinions On The New Mariah
Hello, new to the forum. I'm thinking about purchasing a new Mariah 23' cuddy. Looking for any advise before I make the plunge. I'm not overly concerned with the lack of posh trim/amenities/etc. I am interested in the quality of the new Mariahs. I've heard mixed reviews.

Gidday mate, I have an '06 SX 18, it is fantastic - This is my first boat so I am a bit biased. But saying that, a good mate of mine has just bought a new Campion and he is totally impressed with my Mariah and the quality.
My boat gets heaps of admiring looks and gets onto plane real fast (about 3 secs). My experience with the people at SeaFox has been great, they have been very helpful and always given me good quick advise. Good luck in your purchase be it a Mariah or any other. |
Mariah SX20
As I have stated in earlier posts, the SeaFox Mariahs seem to be a good boat at this point. I have the SX20 and can't speak for warranty issues because I haven't had any yet. The hour meter quit and the dealer gave me another one and I installed it myself in about 5 minutes. There have been some loose screws, but nothing critical. I don't believe a boat has ever been built without that. It is a good looking boat and looks just like the older Mariahs from the side. I believe the molds are the original Mariah molds. I have the 5.0 Mercury and it runs great.
The price for the features on the boat compared to other brands is good. Although one can get a lemon anywhere, there are a lot of the newer Mariah's on the lake where we boat and I have not found an unhappy one yet. All of them that I have spoken with are happy with their purchase. The dealer may be a huge selling point as well. (Pier 51 Marina Keystone Lake Oklahoma) . I would make the purchase again. We have had the boat since April. |
