2009 Runabout R18.9 problems

Good Day,

I have purchased a 2009 Runabout R18.9 with a 3L Mercruiser in August 2009.

The boat came out of shop with dashboard problems. Buttons would break in a day, speedometer did not work. This is after the first day of use. Canvas covers snaps broke and the full cover ripped.

The representative dealer made the necessary repairs due to faulty workmanship on the part of Mariah.

I was told by this dealer that I was the only one complaining about all these dashboard issues. Was I sold a lemon and I am stuck with it?

The dealer attempted to repair the bilge blower button 3 times and this with no success. The 3rd time, the button broke again, and by fiddleling with the electricity, a short caused the depth finder to go out of wak.

I am looking for an explanation as my patience is nearing the end.

Many thanks.

Marc

Its unfortunate that the new Mariahs were not made with the same quality & care that the original Mariah was. Sounds like its time to bypass the dealer and go straight to the source. Here's the individual some of our members have dealt with;

Stewart Mitchell
