I'm going to leave answering this one for the other members with deeper pockets than mine. ;) If you do a site search on z260 you will find a number of threads discussing that particular model.
btw....welcome aboard! |

Ahoy owen2671 and welcome to the forum!
Mikey's right, there is tons of information and advice here, it just takes a little time to find it. My tip is to become a contributing member so you can access our library of manuals, documentation and even a '98 Sales brochure including one just for the Mid Cabin models. If you have any particular questions, feel free to post them and our members will do their best to assist you. WetWilly. |
Re: hi new 98 Mariah Boat owner z260
I have a question! Trying to determin if this boat has an automatic blige, the previous owner says he does not know becuase he never kept it in the water and it never took on water. My feind and i filled up the engine compartment and nothing ever kicked on. I would like a boat this size would have to have one. thank!!

Re: hi new 98 Mariah Boat owner z260
It should have an automatic bilge. However sometimes the float switches get a little gunked up. You can do a search on here for bilge pump and probably see some photos or descriptions on how to test it. Mine didn't work automatically until I got down and manually activated the float switch about 30 times to clear all the grime off the contacts. If the bilge doesn't automatically come on when you raise the small float switch, you should probably replace it. It's a very simple thing to replace, and extremely important if you're planning on keeping it in the water!
