New owner 2000 Shabah 202
I'm a new 202 Shabah owner and was wondering how to get certain info. First how do I know if I have a Z or regular. I just bought this from a friend of mine who NEVER used it. He purchased in 2002 and it was repo'd. It only had about 4 hours on it. Today it sits with 28hrs. He didn't have anything but keys and Arizona title.Title doesn't have much info but make and model. I've tried to research by HIN but there's not very much info out there. Very nice looking boat and I can't wait to get it on the water. Gabe

Wow, only 28 hours??, the motor's barely broken in...when you have a some time, tell us a little more about your 202 Shabah and upload some pictures to our gallery when you have some. I believe the one item unique to all Z-models was the drivers side windshield defogger. If you have this then it's a "Z". You can try PMing your HIN to ShabahZ250 and he should be able to tell you which model you have for sure. Good luck, WetWilly |

That's correct. 28hrs. My buddy bought it in an auction back in 02 with 4 hours on it. It was a repo. I've been on the lake with him a couple of times but I didn't pay enough attention to say if it had wiper or defogger or things like that. When he called me last week and offered me the boat I jumped on it. It's been in storage since he bought it at the nearest lake to here. It's about 2 hours away. So I'm planning on going up sometime this week to check things out. I'll take some pics and verify which model it is. KTM212/Gabe |

Sounds like a great buy Gabe! but....if its been sitting for a long time with very little hours on it, you might want to give the engine & outdrive a service before using it.
