First post and a question

Hi everyone,

This is my first post so I will take a moment tell you a little about myself. My name is Bob and as my screen name implies we live at the Lake of the Ozarks. We have a 1997 Z-276-MCC which we purchased from the original owner 7 years ago.

My question has to do with the Apelco (now Raymarine) Chartplotter 7000 that I believe was standard equipment on many Mariah's of that vintage. I need to replace the internal battery which maintains all the settings when the units is off. The number on the battery is CR2477N but when I looked it up it is not the exact replacement. The battery in the unit has tabs which or soldered to the circuit board. Does anyone know the number for the battery I need?

Thanks for your help. I have been enjoying reading al the post:wink_thumbup:

Re: First post and a question

Hello Bob and welcome to the Club!

Give BatteriesPlus a call. They're located in Springfield at 2216 S. Campbell Ave, their number is (417) 823-8060. It's a special order so ask for Aaron and tell him you need the CR2477N with the tabs and he'll fix you right up. Your battery is $9.99 before tax or shipping.

After you order your battery, take some time and tell us a little more about your '97 Z-276-MCC. If you have any pictures of your Mariah, upload them to our gallery if you like. For a tutorial on uploading your pictures to our gallery, Click here.

We also have a Member Map, so take some time to stick your pin on it. Here's a tutorial on adding your pin: Click here

Lastly, the club has a growing library of manuals, brochures, wiring diagrams, and all sorts of information relevant to your Mariah, the stern drives and equipment. All of these are available to our contributing members. Click here to see what each level has to offer.

Re: First post and a question

Thanks for the information, I will give them a call. I did a little more research and it looks like to me the battery is a CR2477NRH-LF. They refer to it as a horizontal 3 pin 3V lithium battery. The pins are for mounting on the circuit board. Hopefully the folks in Springfield can help me or if anyone else can confirm I have the right number I would appreciate it.

Thanks,

Bob
