This one's tough! I have to think something isn't tuned correctly. Your RPM's are about right, meaning the pitch should be about right. But it has a high five which will give lower top end (which we're seeing) but a better hole shot (which we're definitely not seeing). I can't help but think there's something wrong with the engine, carb, drive alignment, maybe even water-logged stringers/transom adding weight.
I hate to say it, but a good surveyor or mechanic should be able to help. I don't totally count the prop as the culprit just yet. Either way, it's a Mariah - DO NOT turn it into fish food. You'd have about 2000 angry Mariah fanatics after you!!!
