Newbie looking at Mariah
 

I'm looking now at a Mariah 1993 Model Barchetta with a 205 v-6 alpha drive and would like to ask some questions. The owner calls it an 18 foot, the specs say its 18'10 is that with or w/o swim platform. Is the swim platform integrated into fiberglass or is it add on, can't see from owners pics.
Does this engine have those notorious mercury batwing risers that fail all the time.

The 1993 Barchetta MX did measure 18' 10" overall but that would not include any swim platform other than the small one that was part of the boat. W/out seeing the pics, its possible someone has added a swim platform.

As for the 'batwing' risers...could be. They are a one piece unit so they should be easy to identify. Mine were changed out before i bought my boat.
