Need opinions-96 Mariah Talari 240

Just looked at a 1996 Mariah Talari 240 and was hoping I could get some opinions. We are not that familiar with the Mariah boats.

It has brand new upholstery, carpet is excellent. Exterior is very good with only a few scratches in the pin striping. It has the 350 MerCruiser. 340 hours. Has dual stainless steel props. Prestige tanden axle trailer. Beautiful boat! They are asking $10900. We would like some input from the Mariah family to let us know if this is a good buy or not.

Looking forward to being part of the family! Thanks so much.

That seems to be a pretty fair price for a 96 240 Talari. Do you have any photos of it or a link on the web for it? We all like looking at photos and can usually point out areas of concern. :wink_thumbup:

You won't be disappointed with a Mariah. They used materials and construction methods that were much stronger and more labor intensive than the competitors. That's why you can still find Mariah's from the early 90's in original condition looking like they just rolled off the showroom floor!

Feel free to browse around the site, check the "Mariah Boats Inc and Jimmy Fulks Biography" section. Check out the patents that show the floor and stringer construction methods, take a look at the factory photos, and read Jimmy's bio, and you'll have a better understanding of everything! Then you'll understand why we're all so obsessed with our Mariahs.
