Re: 212/z212/z212 limited

Robert,

Looks like NADA has the '01 difference in a 212 Shabah and a Z212 Shabah right at about $2000.

Limiteds usually have most of the "Z" package equipment (I could be wrong here, but I swear I've seen Limiteds without some of the "Z" package offerings like electronic compass, certain lights, etc.) along with special color hulls and vinyl.

If your Limited has all the "Z" options, I would think you could get another $500-$1000 on top of the Z212 by having the special color and limited numbers available.

Re: 212/z212/z212 limited

Ryan's right, the Limited package could be customized. Mine was custom ordered without a few of the options. However I believe Robert's Z212 has just about all the options available with the limited package minus the Captains Call Exhaust.

Robert, is that your boat currently on ebay? Don't let people try to lowball you, and be sure and let the auction go until the end to get the maximum price out of it. Good luck, and keep us updated!

Looks great! Sorry to hear you're selling.

Tough call on what you should get out of it. I don't want to offend by saying something low, or get your hopes up by saying something high...

Low hours, trailer included, limited edition with full hull color makes it really attractive to buyers. I'm not sure how bad your area is experiencing any economic woes, which can also play a part in it's value. Realistically, I think you should see at least $18,000 for it, maybe even $20k+. If you don't absolutely need to sell, I'd hold out for the higher end of that range, especially with spring coming near. Unfortunately, I consistently hear of people getting into brand new boats for really good prices right now, bringing all used boats' resale values down.

Well, to be honest, I inflated my thoughts slightly so I wouldn't offend. I think $16.5 is a great deal though. Hopefully, people will see the reserve was met, and know they can own if they're the last one bidding so it goes higher. Good luck!

Just for reference, I paid $16,500 (I think) for mine Dec. '06 with 247 hours. A little more HP, but not the limited model and minimal hours like yours. The age of mine would have been the same at that time. The asking price was $20k.
