Hi All,
I've been a Mariah owner tow times so far. I owned a Jubilee until 2005. In 2015 I purchased a Z302. I spent 3 years completely restoring it, almost every inch. Trailer, custom paint, seats, carpet, audio, covers and top. Recently installed a 515 Big Block Chevy performance engine, still getting in dialed in so to speak. What can I say I loved the Z302 the first time I saw one. I will load some pics when I figure out how to use the site better.

Welcome to the club, or should I say welcome back? I would love to see pics and hear about all you did restoring the 302, just got a 275st myself and have started restoration. That 515 big block sounds like a beast - do you have captain's call on the boat?

Greg, thanks. Basically I spared no expense and starting with the trailer, I went though every component. Once I completed the trailer, I took the boat apart and striped it to bare bones almost. I added a swim platform with seats on what was the old transom deck. Then it went for custom paint, once that was completed I began one component at a time, putting the whole boat back together while adding new upholstery, carpet, audio, some wiring, new bilge pumps, GPS, VHF radio, did some custom cup holders into the dash/cockpit. Just recently built a 515 from scratch. Balanced rotator, forged pistons, big roller cam with hydraulic lifters, Merlin heads and yes man it has custom pipes with wet captains exhaust. I will say I wired it so you have to flip the switch to turn the exhaust to quiet!! Meaning I never use the switch, always ON!! She is a beast, I also installed a 36 pitch 4x3 bravo prop. Much soother and easier to keep on plane at lower rpm’s. It’s been a lot of fun and the boat is very different looking but still has those beautiful hull lines that I fell in love with. I never seem to run out of things I want to do to make it more unique. Not many of these left out there! Let me see if I can figure out how to get some pics uploaded. Lol

Oh man, with that description you HAVE to upload pics. It all sounds great, really want to see your custom cup holders, swim platform and the engine compartment. Where are you located?
