Need help with my guage not working
 

Hello new here !!! I have a question need some help I have a 2000 mariah shabah and I had some work done including the fuel pump replaced I took the boat out seen the gas guage not working and located the wires on the gas tank connected but the other side of them is not I have no manual and I'm trying 2 fix myself does anyone know how to fix this to make guage work??:)

The owners manual is of no value to you with this problem and replacing the fuel pump on the engine would have no effect on whether or not the fuel gauge works. My guess is that someone damaged the connection at the fuel sender unit (where the wires attach at the fuel tank) probably by stepping on it while fixing the fuel pump. The power wire that feeds the gauge from the sender unit should be pink. There should also be a black ground wire. At the gauge end there should be 3 wires connected. Pink / black and I cant remember the 3rd colour but that wire runs to the ignition switch.
