Hello from Ontario, Canada
Hello MOC!
Its Tanya & Jeff here. Got our first boat a couple months ago and its a 1995 Mariah Davanti 275Z We are enjoying it so far, but would even more if we knew how to operate some of the systems! If anyone can guide us on getting the fresh water system ready for use (?bleaching necessary), and how the exiting of grey water works etc - it would be much appreciated. Of course we received no manuals of any kind We're getting the boat polished as I'm typing this, and will post a pic when it's finished. Just to dazzle y'all! Thanks a bunch in advance. Anyone on the forum from up our way? |
Re: Hello from Ontario, Canada
Welcome. I think we need a little more information about the freshwater system configuration of your boat. Do you have a grey water tank or do the sinks exit directly overboard. Do you have a water heater? Was the freshwater system winterized with antifreeze?

There are a number of members here in Ontario .... and Steve isn't that far away. :)
ps... I will also suggest that you join the Facebook Mariah Owners group if you haven't done so already. |
Re: Hello from Ontario, Canada
Thanks to both of you for replying. I will consult with Jeff about more of the specifics. I do know that we have 3 small sinks that drain locally: in the bathroom, galley, and behind the captain's seat, so that must mean that there is a grey water tank. There are a couple pump out spots on the side, but thats part of what we aren't sure of.
If pics of any of these areas of the boat would help let us know! I will add us to the FB group! |
