New to Mariah boats and club
 

Hi Everyone,

Our family is enjoying the early season on in our 2009 Mariah SX25. The boat is handling rough water and the kids are loving the new tube.

I'm trying to track down a potential issue. There is a small cap with wire filter next to the gas cap / line. Gas is leaking from the small cap when we fill up. Any info on what may be happening here would be very much appreciated.

Fuel tank vent. Some boats do that when you fill them up on the water or on a trailer with the bow up higher than the stern. I find when i fill mine while on the water, myself (and any passengers) need to sit in the bow area to help the tank 'burp'.
