I was surprised to find a site dedicated to Mariah Boating.
Looking for replacement carpet for the front of my vessel.
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Welcome aboard dj. Unfortunately there aren't any vendors out there who stock already sized carpet for our Mariahs. If you still have the original, i would find a marine upholstery specialist in your area and have him make you a new piece using the original as a template. Also, if you do a search here for 'carpet' i think you will find a couple of other members who have done similar things.

I believe some members have used snapincarpet.com for carpet replacement. However I would first check your local upholstery shops, they can custom make one for you that's an exact replacement.

You know, this is one thing I think I should try and get for the bow for my boat.
Mine is very tired, ripped and sorry looking. But the snaps still work.

Next time I go north I could price it out and see how many millions it is. :)

Until I purchased my boat, I had never heard of Maraih, but I have instantly fell in love with it and plan on keeping it until I can afford a deck boat. The only thing is, I feel like I have a classic since they are no longer manufactured by the original company.

I have sent an email to snap in carpet, lets see if they respond.

Once again, thank you for your response.

I'll chime in on this one. I just had snapincarpet make all three pieces for my Z302 and couldn't be happier. Carpet selection was great, only took a couple of weeks but I did have to supply templates. I bought a roll of rosin paper from Home Depot and started cutting and taping. It really came out great.

I'm down at Lake of the Ozarks which has plenty of quality interior shops yet none have the right equipment to bind the edges. I was referred by three of them to call this outfit as that's who they use when a customer doesn't want to hassle with the templates. They come out and make them, place the order, bump the price and lay it in. No brainer if you can use a pair of scissors.

I Live in Carl Junction, MO. Northwest of Joplin. I spend about a Week a month in the Overland Park Area, Would like to meet you sometime and we can share boating stories. I have a few...... :)

I sent a request to snapincarpet last week and have yet to hear back from them. Going to send them another request this morning.

There is a place in my Area named J&D Covers, which I understand specialize in Marine Carpeting and Bimini Tops. I will be contacting them today to see what the cost is going to be.

There was someone else on this thread that they said their's was worn but still snapped down ok. So they might be interested also.

I just like things to keep things looking good.

Have a Great Day
