2001 Shabah Z202
 

I have owned a Z202 for a year now and I purchased it used. We keep it at the lake in a slip with a lift and it is always in the cradle unless we are on the water. Boat run great and we use it weekly in the summer. Today I lost control of the motor trim, I am confident it is an SX Volvo Penta Outdrive with a 5.7l Engine same manufacture. Any ideas on how I can troubleshoot this issue neither switch on the throttle control or the switch located on the stern move the outdrive. Currently it is down the trim indicator dial shows it at down. I can call the marina but I am sure they are going to take a month to get to it, any ideas?

Does the Trailer switch work? Like have you tried raise/lower the whole lower unit? If Trailer switch works to raise the unit then try lowering it. You might also check your connections at the battery and the Trim motor. Plus check your fuses.

No the trailer switch doesn't work either. Do you know where the fuse for the power trim is located, it is not on the breaker panel under the helm. Thank you very much for replying I know nothing about this boat mechanically, or technically.

If at all possible please go to the Mariah website and find the search bar to look for wiring diagram for your boat. Or just Google it, you might also see if You Tube can help you locate it.
