Mariah Jubilee Gas Tank Debris

First post here. I have a 2000 Mariah Jubilee. I was filling the boat with with a 5 gallon gas can. The spigot has a red plastic check built in. When I pulled the gas can it was gone and I didn’t see it anywhere else. I am assuming it is in the boat’s gas tank now. My question is should have any concern with this floating in my gas tank. My guess is that it could clog a sending line but probably not pass to the engine due to the size and being stopped by the fuel filter. No problems yet. I’ll see if I can post a picture for better understanding.

I wouldn’t worry to much. The fuel pick up likely has a screen.
