Engine counter location for FS18 inboard

I have a 1996 FS18. Very little hours on the boat. I would gues 50-75 at tops. I am a disabled veteran and am rarely able to take her out. Where is the engine counter for my inboard or how can I find out the hours? It is carburated, not fuel injected and the smaller mercruiser engine.

Thanks for your help. If I knew this site existed, I would have joined years ago. Hello from Charleston, SC.....

I looked at the RPM, but there is no dial or gauge numbers for hours on the dash board. I have had the boat in the water maybe a total of twenty times or less. I have changed oil and filters 5 times. So about every four times out, a bit excessive I know, but when you only take it our very rarely, I like to keep it fresh. I am 100% disabled veteran, so my pain levels keep me from using it hardly at all. The last time was 4.5 years ago. Then I drained and foged the motor. Changed oil again and filters, new battery, started second try yesterday. Looking at using it a couple times this summer then selling it. Just too hard for my pained body to keep up anymore.

Just want to try and find out how many hours on it if at all possible. Vr - Dwayne In Charleston, SC.

Most boats of this vintage have no hour meter. I change my oil annually.

I have a 1995 Barchetta 182 with a 4.3 LX carbureted engine. There is no hour meter for this boat.

Mariah did not make an "FS18" in 1996. IF it is a 1996 it would be a Shabah, Barchetta or Talari. An "FS18" is a model name used by the new Mariah company (Sea Fox Boats) when they began building "Mariah" branded boats in 2003. My '96 Shabah has a factory hour meter mounted behind the rear passenger side seat.
