1998 shabah 5.0 prop
 

Hi guys. New to the group with a propeller question. I have a 98 Mariah Shabah 5.0 mercruiser alpha one. Wanting to know what size prop I should run on this boat. What I assume to be the origanal prop is pretty chewed up from previous owner and and it lags pretty bad when trying to pull up a skier. 3 or 4 blade prop? Size and pitch? Thanks in advance. Excited to be in this group.

Educating yourself by reading the STICKYS at the top of the Prop Talk forum would be a good start. I would suggest that a 3 blade 19" pitch prop is a good all-around prop for this boat/motor combo.
