Newbie in Missouri

Hello!

I just found this site and I am happy to see it. I only wish I would have found it sooner. I hope to be able to get answers to questions and concerns here and maybe help out with some of the stuff I have learned about my Mariah.

I have a 1999 Shaba 252 with a 7.4/Bravo 3

I have 122 hours on it and I love the boat. Very comfy large enough for our family and friends to enjoy, yet still trailerable, for now (gas prices and such).

anyway, just signed up and wanted to say hello.

Now I gotta figure out the keywords here to find the weight for my boat........

Heading out for Memorial weekend in the AM so if someone were to reply for whatever reason I will be back on Tuesday.

Chris

Ahoy Chris,

Glad to have you aboard and as for your Shabah, it weighs in around 4200lbs dry with the 7.4 w/Bravo III.

When you have a some time, tell us a little more about your 252! If you have any pictures of your Shabah, free to upload them to our gallery. For a tutorial on uploading to our gallery, Click here.

We also have a Member Map, so take some time to stick your pin on it. Here's a tutorial on adding your pin: Click here

Lastly, did you know we have a growing library of manuals, brochures, wiring diagrams, and all sorts of information relevant to your Shabah 252, the stern drives and equipment. All of these are available to our contributing members. Click here to see what each level has to offer.

If you need any help getting around the Forum, just PM me,
WetWilly

Willy,

thanks for the response. Glad to be here. I do have some pics that I just took this weekend and I will get them up soon.

I did post my pin on the member map already so we can represent on a national and international basis.

I have participated in some of the forums already and will continue to be on the boards watching and learning and participating where useful. Thanks again

Chris

Thanks MikeyT. Seems like a good spot to pick up some valuable info about these boats since contacting the manufacturer is not an option. Just hope I can be helpful to someone in return. Have a good one.

Chris
