Greetings!

Hello,
I am new to this forum, I recently aquired a 96' Mariah 209 Talari. It was abandoned at a storage facility therefore I have barely and info on it. I am trying to find manuals for it including some guidance on prop tilt up n down as none of it works, I am a technician in the auto world and industrial world. Few hours playing around with the boat and i have it running, some help with getting the outdrive to move would greatly be appreciated. Also does the gauge lights always stay on when battery power is on even with key off?:eek_animated:

First, the gauge lights come on when the boat lights are switched on. Check the position of that switch.

Second, what engine and out-drive unit do you have.? You may be able to download a free user manual for the engine and drive unit. The Mariah boat manual is mostly generic and almost useless.

The outdrive trim up/down is controlled by a rocker switch on the throttle handle. The switch controls power to a D.C. powered hydraulic pump located in the stern on the left side. It's a little pump with a hydraulic fluid reservoir. There are two steel braid lines off the pump that run out to the two hydraulic trim cylinders on the outdrive. See if all of that helps and then we'll talk about the trim limit switch and the Trailer button.
