New guy from Ontario
 

Ok, haven't taken possession of the boat yet, but put a deposit pending water trial and inspection of a 1994 Talari 180.
We're in Caledonia Ontario, been lurking the forum for a bit of advice and seems MikeyT? and some others are fairly close to us.
4.3 engine with the 2bbl so hopefully an intake manifold/carb away from a few more ponies in the next couple of years if we need them.
Seems it was stored indoors most of it's life, interior looks great, as does the rest, but I'm new to I/O's.
Hoping to get it picked up for water trial in a couple weeks. Most of our boating will be on Pigeon Lake in Peterborough area. Lake is a bit rougher and weedier than we are used to so it was finally time to upgrade from our 14.5 ft Seadoo Challenger (for sale soon). Hoping the extra size and power makes watersports easier, although we pulled a lot of things with that 110hp jet.
Already have first mods planned, Smart Tabs, probably shortly after we learn to drive the thing. Wanna be able to say I felt the dramatic difference :) If the wife lets me (technically her birthday boat), trolling motor will be next on the list since I can't get a bass boat yet for a couple of years.
