Love London mills for spoon river drive every year. Clinton lake is another 45 minutes away by the nuclear power pant. Shelbyville is about and hour and a half away. Illinois river from peoria to Henry is great but quite a bit of barge traffic. Great places to check out here. Rend lake is in benton where the boat was built will be heading there this summer as well.

What lakes you planning on hitting this season?

We went to Lake Michigan a lot with the other Mariah and plan to do that again. We are on the Illinois river most of the time. We put in at Seneca and Allen park in Ottawa .

We have never been on Lake Clinton but would like to check it out. We like Lake Shelbyville, a lot of places to anchor and swim a good size lake. We camped in Possum Creek camp ground for a week and had a great time.

Allen park is a nice boat launch they have several ramps but the current can some times be a pain. It will be nice to be on the water again have not boated for 2 years. We sold our 35' Sea Ray Sundancer 2 year age and found out we can't stand be off the water.
We are down sizing so we can travel to other rivers and lakes again. We purchased a 1994 272z Barchetta we had years ago a 1996 272z Shabah and loved at boat that is why we purchase another Mariah 272z.

Have you had it on the water or did you just get it over the winter?
