Passenger rating

I'm looking for the number of passengers a 2000 Z250 can hold.

Re: Passenger rating

Supposedly the capacity plate says 12, from what I can remember of my old Z250. That'd likely be 6 in the cabin and 6 in the cockpit, which as you could imagine would be a VERY tight squeeze! :wink_thumbup:

Safely, I'd say 5 in the cockpit area, and 2-3 max in the cabin if you're underway... Docked or anchoring, you could potentially have more on the sundeck and bow area.

Re: Passenger rating

Looking at the layout, it looked like 9 would be the max while underway, but I had seen the 12 claim somewhere. That just didn't seem plausible. Thanks for the assessment.

I guess if everybody was five foot tall and under one hundred pounds u could get 12 onboard. Lol

Haha very true! But the thing to keep an eye on is the max weight rating that's listed along with the max number of passengers. This will give you a better idea of what's safe... This will be listed on the placard located near the shifting/throttle controls.

Yes, I have a few relatives that would count as 3 regular passengers each.
