New Mariah owner - 1998 Z211 Talari
 

Hello, just purchased a 1998 z211 Talari last summer. It seems to be kind of rare because I cant find much info about it. It has power seats and windshield defrost and thru-hull exhaust with factory silent choice. Powered by a 5.0 MPI Mercruiser with Alpha 1 drive. I am very happy with it. It is very fast and smooth. I get lots of compliments on it. Is this the original engine? Is it a SE model? Any info would be appreciated. Thanks.

There should be a plate on the inside of the boat's transom that lists the engine, transom, and out-drive serial numbers. You can compare the engine serial number there with the one on the engine. My 5.7 has the serial number just above and behind the starter on the right side (seen from back). I don't know about the 5.0.
