Z202 - new member from Florida
Hi All,
Just bought a 1999 Z202 with 5.7L Bravo III. Had boats all my 68-year life, had to get a faster one before the 70th b-day;-) Everything on the boat looks good, no upholstery rips or burns, good gel coat, clean engine and out-drive. 600-hour use in Idaho fresh water until a year ago. Runs well and fast. Looking like-new original steel trailer won't fly for long in Florida salt water, but I hope to keep the boat on a lift in the boathouse and not use the trailer much. Thanks for reading, GaryDoug Tarpon Springs, FL |

So far, it's not in the water. Still working on the boathouse lift. Here's a trailer shot and one of the "bordello" seating plan ;-).

Well, you should know. You have the same boat and engine ;-)

Boat lift is finally functional so here's a shot in the water.

That's definitely an interesting seating setup, never seen that in a Mariah before. The graphics package is definitely unique as well. Can you PM me the hull ID number from the starboard side of the transom, and I can check to see if this is a one-off custom special model/prototype, or something one of the previous owners did?

Photo of the boat on the lift. It's a work in progress. First I had to demolish most of the 50+ year old boathouse because of extensive rot, then add cypress beams for the lift hardware support. Maybe I put a roof on after I rest up from this task. In the meantime, I keep the boat cover on.

Whats your prop pitch? I had 26's then switched to 28's. Hills marine has nice 4x4 blade set up, great props, cheaper than the 4x3, or 3x3's '98 mariah shabah 180 5.7l 350 mag Bravo III |
