SC 23 Bilge Pump

Hi, I am new to the club and new to posting questions and the like. Hopefully someone can help me.

The bilge pump on my 2008 SC23 does not shut off automatically any more. Might be a silly question. But where under the engine is it? Can't locate it.

The shop where I took it for service just closed. Any suggestions where I can take the boat in the Miami area?

I'm not sure exactly where it is in the Sea Fox Mariah boats, but chances are, if you open up the engine compartment, you should be able to see it mounted somewhere on the bottom there. My guess is your switch is stuck (occasionally they can gather debris that interferes with the normal switch operations). Most of the time you can cycle the switch up and down about 10-12 times and it'll fix itself. Or, if you've determined the switch is truly bad and needs to be replaced, it's a fairly simple job to do yourself and save the labor costs from the mechanic/service shop.

Thank you very much. It must to be under the engine. You can not see it from above. Not very clever, it seems. I borrowed a camera from a friend to look under the engine. Hopefully I find it. But it will be hard to reach. Messed up my back last time reaching under the engine trying to feel it.
Again, thank you.

I received an email from the Club that states that a Scottie1961 replied to this thread. I can't find anything, though. Where do I have to look?
