I joined this site for information on Mariah boats. We are currently searching for a deck boat. We liked a 2004 Hurricane Fun Deck 202 we looked at. I have now found a 2004 Mariah DX 213 for $11k obo. It has 5.0 Mercury with 250 hrs (200 hp), rebuilt carb, porta potty, walk through windshield & 50 gal. tank. What issues would be peculiar to this craft? Thanks for your input.

Quick thoughts... it was made by Sea-Fox and not an original Mariah built boat so the quality isn't quite as good as the originals. That 5.0 might be a bit sluggish (an on-the- water test would determine whether or not you're happy with the power) and a 5.7 would be much better imho. Check that the windscreen is intact (replacements have to be made) and that the potti door isn't damaged cuz you wont find one of those either.
