Hi we are new owners of a 2007 Mariah SC23.

We love the boat but she does have a few issues and have a couple of questions.

Firstly, does anyone know what make of depth finder would be in the 2007 model?
It doesn't appear to be a Faria or a Humminbird as both of those normally show the brand name on the face. We would like to get hold of the instructions as although we think we have set it correctly, the alarm sounds frequently even though we know we are in plenty (but not too deep) water.

Secondly, the Rev counter needle shoots round when the engine first starts but the returns to zero and refuses to budge. Coincidentally the speedo which was working has now decided to give up on us.

Oh and if anyone knows of a really good bird scarer we can mount on the top of the screen/bimini - we would love to hear from you. Each weekend when we go to our boat it is covered in seagull poo! Much of our time is spent cleaning the stuff off (and it stains too).

Apart from that - the Mariah is fantastic.
