Just purchased a 1999 Shabah 182 and love it.....except the rub rail needs some cosmetic applications....the metal is showing through and the rubber needs some attention too. I was talking to a marine dealer and he suggested sanding priming and painting the whole rub rail, as replacing it would have cost over $800...has anyone done this to there's and can offer suggestions on what kind of paint and primer and any other useful info? thanks
