Rev counter dead
 

I would like to get my rev counter working again, it has not worked for at least a year. I have no idea where to start but I expect it is a bad connector at the engine end. Could someone help me locate the correct wire and suggest a way of testing (I have a multi-meter). I did have the engine out a few years ago for a new transom assembly and I also replaced the coil at about the same time, I dont think either of these caused the problem because I am pretty sure it worked for a while after therse jobs were done.


Also, how big a job is replaceing the fuel tank sender (the screws are well corroded from salt water)? I've made myself a list of to-do's!
