Trim Swiitch is bad
I have a bad trim switch that is embedded in the throttle handle. Is the switch replaceable or do I have to replace the throttle too or whole assembly. I am sure it is the switch I used the sticky guide for troubleshooting.
Is there a backup way of trimming up and down when the switch is not working on the throttle. Thanks in Advance Steve |
Re: Trim Swiitch is bad
The switch is replaceable. You'll need to know what throttle control assembly (ie Commander 3000 etc) you have then visit your Mercruiser dealer parts dept. Here's an example of an exploded view of the Commander 3000.
