For those with OEM Vinyl tops...

Just in case you needed another testimonial for 303 Protectant, here you go. This was my first time using it on the Z280's Bimini top, and WOW!! I did one half without the 303, and one with... Look at the difference! I'll be doing the rest of the top this weekend!

I strongly recommend it for those who still have the OEM vinyl tops. It may be a little more expensive than the competitors, but well worth it! :wink_thumbup:

Guess what I'm doing tomorrow Chris.
I never thought of using it on the OEM covers.:wink_thumbup:

You said you did one half without and one with. Does that mean you used a different product or just showing what it did? I've never used the 303 but have used McGuires and 3m.

Sounds like half with and half without anything to me rajjneef.
I use it on my seats and interior panels , but never thought of the covers.

My interpretation was that Chris cleaned but didn't use 303 on one half and then cleaned & used the 303 on the other half. Either way, i've used the 303 product for about 5-6 yrs now and i think it does an excellent job!

Re: For those with OEM Vinyl tops...

I'll clarify this, as it may have been interpreted wrong.

I cleaned the aft half with the 303 first, stood up and hung off the radar arch to take a photo and show how nice it looked. At the same time, I took a photo looking at the forward half to show how it looked before cleaning with the 303. This was done strictly to illustrate the before & after. I then cleaned the forward half with the 303, so the entire bimini top was cleaned with the 303.

Update: The 303 did a nice job, but I'll likely need to do a few more coats. When I unrolled the top from the bimini boots, the top looked like it did previously, except with a little more shine to it. I'm assuming this may come from rolling and flexing the vinyl to fit inside the bimini boots. If you were leaving the top up constantly, I'm sure it'd look great. But there's been some pretty strong storms on Lake Erie so far, and I don't want to damage the top by leaving it up just yet. :)
