Help! My Dico is leaking.....
 

and no penecillin wont help this device. When i went into the garage tonight i saw a puddle of brake fluid under the surge brake unit. The unit is a Dico 6000 (Crica 1994). How have you fellas that had this problem handled it. Are there rebuild kits for these? is it worth it to rebuild it? The boat shop has a similar model for $159. The trailer has single drum brakes. It is the matching trailer for the Mariah.
Any sources or suggestions?

Ah yes the internet. found a direct replacement at eastermarine in Delaware, brand new on sale for $87 They have a complete trailer store either in person or internet. Nice website too! Delaware is nice to as they have no sales tax.

$87 sounds much nicer than $159 if it means your Dico wont leak anymore...... :)
