Pre spring Joy

Well today, Friday the 19th of March the weather was sunny and 68 here in Bethlehem, PA. I called the boat shop and asked them how business was today. Meaning could i bring the boat over and have the engine oil/filter, drive oil changed and a once over of the boat. They said bring it over and they could do it right away. Off we went and they did all that plus changed the fuel/water separator as a bonus. Said all runs good and is ready for the water. Tomorrow the boat will get detailed as the weather is called to be the same. I could do it any time as the boat is in our garage but nothing like the spring weather break with sunshine and outdoors. There are some other items to touch on. I think we will add a new radio this year at least with an mp3 or Aux input this will get me to tiddy up the loose radio fascia/bezel.
The jet ski also got its detail and firing up. Nothing like a weather break to bring the dead back to life.

See ya
Brian

Yep, we've had a few days of mid 60's (okay, high teens since we measure in Centigrade up here) weather the last few days & its got me to thinking about getting the boat out of storage. Unfortunately this weather wont last & they're calling for possibility of 'flow snurries' by Monday. The good thing about this warm spell though is there are no Eskimos patrolling the creeks watching for seals and the polar bears are heading north for the summer so it will be safe to go back outside soon. ;)

Flow snurries? say did you get you merds wixed up? are you under the alcafluence of inciihol? or maybe its warbal gloming. Polar bear amd seals going north. hmm were they in a Mariah? When i topped up the tank yesterday in the boat on the way home, a fella said to me dont ya think its a little early. I said no due to global warming by next weekend they want it in the lower 90's, plus with the rising water i need to be prepared. A woman overheard my comment and said that i shouldnt take global warming so lightly, i said, sure i understrand but as soon as your trade your expedition in for a bike we can talk. But any way i might as well enjoy it before they tax owning the boat or the amount of fuel i use.
Here's to warm weather:wink_thumbup:

I know the feeling mikeyt I am from the Great White Noirth too and all I can think about is getting in the boat and looking around.
I called the Marina to check on my spot, and they where just taking off the ice fishing huts on monday.
I have not taken possession of my Z222 as its still in plastic and stored But I want to check it out so bad. I have been in Florida for the last 6 weeks and although it hasnt been the warmest it still has been nice enough to think of boating, and visiting this site two or three times every day has not helped=/ Oh well going home next week Hopefully the weather will continue to be nice and we can finally hit the water and it will go splash instead of clunk
regards Bill
