Cleaning white stiching in headrests.

What is the best way to get the stiching in the back head rests, back to white ? Over the weekend I'm going to try and detail the inside of my boat, and would like to get the white seats back to the original color.. Kinda new at this, but know white is generaly a bear to clean...

This was just recently discussed and it seems to be the consensus of this board is to use Magic Eraser but be sure to follow up with a good vinyl protector.

Here are a few of the threads where it's been mentioned. Good luck!

Dredd thanks for the reply, I did see the last one about the magic eraser but didnt fully know if it was speaking to the cleaning of the thread or just the vinyl.. I've used that in the past but never thought it would work for this... Very interesting, I guess I'll give it a try...

Be very careful with any kind of aggressive scrubbing or harsh chemicals. My friend did his and within a year his stitching was coming apart and then it was a trip to the upholstery shop :wink_thumbup:
