sx18 rear seats
 

hi all. I have noticed an issue with my rear seat in my sx18. The "head rest" cushions have started to have rust stains. I have noticed that they lift up and the wood and hinges are deteriorated. Can someone tell me if (1) they are supposed to lift up or are they supposed to be glued down, and (2) if they need to be fixed are the hinges accesible to repair by myself or would it be best to take it to dealer. Check out this thread. They guy involved received 3 new head rests from SeaFox -great service.
Their office is closed for xmas and new year at the moment so you wont be able to get anything done for you until '09.

thanks for the link. I searched the site but didnt find that. Mine unfortunately look worse than that so i will contact seafox and see what they say. Still it wont stop me taking the boat out, i'll just keep an eye on them, when i'm laying in the sun on the back seat. Now the warm weather is here, right Dudders. hehe sorry all that are having winter (Mikey), your turn will come and merry christmas to you also
