Default Looking at a 92 MX19, are these cracks bad?

Hello everyone! I am looking at purchasing my 1st boat. It's a 92 MX19 with a 4.3. I went and looked at it today and I found a few things I'm not sure if I should be worried about or not. Here are a few pics below. My fears are these

Cracks in the transom
Holes/scrapes in the bottom of the hull

The price seemed fair im just worried about these issues. We were able to run with a hose attached but not on the lake. Ran good and sounded strong. He has replaced the bellows, the gimble bearing, new cap, rotor, wires, plus, carb rebuild, fuel pump change. Interior is worn but not bad. The deck seems to be in fair shape. But whats your guys options on the pics? A no go or not to bad?

Thanks!
Jake

    Looks like someone did an ugly repair to that gouge in the side ....

    I wouldn't be 'worried' about those fine cracks on the transom but the other gouges need to be repaired. Water gets into the hull & soaks the f-glass matting and eventually gets to the wood in the stringers and transom which means rot occurs. Lots of videos on You-Tube on how to repair those gouges so it will depend on how handy you are and whether or not a 30 yr old boat is worth putting the time / effort into fixing up.

    Btw... there are a couple of "How To's" here on this site dealing with that issue;

    Thanks for the info! I got him to come down a little more plus a ride on the lake tomorrow to make sure she is sound. I hope I'm doing the right thing. Again, I feel like the price is right and I'm not afraid to do the work myself

    I had not before but I have now. Thanks again! I had him pull the cover off the engine bay and have a look in there yesterday. It looked clean but he had also been in there doing work/tuneup. With all the new items i listed above along with new trailer tires (counting the spare) and new bearings in the axle I have him down to 2800 right now. As long as everything is tight and right on the water I feel conformable with that after reading the links your provided and a little more research. Again it's all in the water test today and get her put through her paces.
