Starting question
 

So this is my first boat I'm not too familiar with these things but I am mechanically inclined. I did read the sticky about troubleshooting the starting system. No luck there. I have a 1995 barchetta with the 4.3 motor. I got it to start when I bought it but now that it is home and replaced the battery no go. I replaced the spark plug wires, the coil, the sensor inside the distributor cap. Still nothing. I am waiting on the cap and rotor to show up to try that. I also ordered new plugs but they wont be here till tomorrow. I'm not getting spark at all but I didn't touch anything that day It did start. Any ideas or am i just missing something? Thanks.

My first thought would be the kill switch on the throttle assembly.

Turns out to be the shift inturuptor switch...unplugged that and then she fired right up.
