Throttle gear release
 
Ok new problem already . Finally got the 212 Shabah idling good . Now the push button on the throttle to release it from gear is not working at all . It won't click into gear now . Took the rubber cover off and plastic plunger is just free floating . I'm assuming it's spring loaded on the other side ? Also it looks like after market controller

Looks like it's also made out of a basic plastic. Original mercruiser ones are shiney.
