Engine dies after 2 minutes
So in preparation for boating season i fired up my 94 Talari 350 magnum in my driveway and after about 5-10 minutes it shut off on its own. I had the ear muffs on with water coming out exhaust. Oil temp was low and oil pressure was low. Now it won't start unless I have a bit of throttle depressed and it dies after a couple of minutes. While it's running it sounds rough and weak. I already cleaned the carb and sprayed a bit of carb cleaner on throttle flap with no improvement. Any ideas? Could it be spark plugs?

Check the fuel for water.

Re: Engine dies after 2 minutes
This boat is new to me, so I can't give exact instructions. But you remove the fuel filter/separator and empty it into a jar so you can see if water settles to the bottom. It could be full and that would allow the water to get through to the engine. It could get in at the gas station/dock or any of a variety of ways. That's why there is a filter/separator. It's a good idea to replace it periodically.
