Teleflex cable replacement
 

Hey all-Steering cable on 1995 Z240 Talari with 7.4 and P/S is shot. Before tackling this mid-season hoping for insight about whether cable jacket is secured along it's length down the starboard hull insides to the point where some inside liner dis-assembly is required? Also, does anyone know with certainty the exact length of required replacement cable so I may have new one on hand as I'm pulling old one?
Ive though a bit about replacing the system with a proportional linear actuator and steering head, but if cable is relatively trouble-free to pull and replace, I'll stick to that and a steering head replacement. Thanks in advance!
