Vinyl repair kits?
 

Howdy fellow lovers of Mariah!

My '01 z212 Shabah had a small tear in the sun deck. Long term I'd like to get it all apholstered, but it's still in very good shape for its age. I'd like to try vinyl repair for the short term, get me through the season without the damage spreading.

I know it won't look perfect, but it'll still be better than a huge tear or a hunk of duct tape. Anyone used one of these kits, or have recommendations?

I have never had any luck (personally) with those type of kits. I think they are ok for very temporary measure, but that is about it. I used it once and within a few weeks it cracked again at the same spot. I know that you must follow the directions very carefully when using those kits (trust me on that point). I just bought a 1998 Mariah Talari 221 that 2 of the back head rest need to be removed and redone.
